We are pleased to announce that we will be offering wet labs during WGC-2017. Each course is limited to 50 participants.
These wet labs will aim at teaching established glaucoma surgeons new techniques as well as how to prevent and manage complications. Pitfalls and pearls of wisdom will be shared by some of the best surgeons available. The duration of each session is 2.5 hours.
Confirmed companies that will offer wet labs during the 7th WGC are: Alcon, Allergan, Ellex, Glaukos, IOPtima, Molteno, New World Medical

We are glad to announce that we have exceeded all expectations! After receiving the highest number of abstracts, we broke yet another record. This means that we are coming close to the results of WGC-2011, held in Paris!
Registrations for the meeting at the Regular Rate will be available till May 15, 2017. Please be aware that after this date an onsite fee will be applied.

The Education Committee of the WGA has recently conducted a survey in order to better identify the needs for glaucoma education around the world. We would like to share with you here some of the results, that will help us to plan future education plans. From the 677 responses received, 91% were from ophthalmologists, and 63% of them completed a glaucoma fellowship.
